This programme is undergoing a lot of changes
this season. In 2002 the Crusaders entered two teams into the Warwickshire
League. In 2003 the decision was made to groom the local talent already available
and further players' skills so that in the future the Crusaders can field a more
competitive team either locally or nationally.
There are plenty of opportunities to train
with expert coaching by Crusaders senior players. The idea is to l develop several teams
at different venues across the city. These teams compete against each other in games
and tournaments. The competition is therefore, on a more level standard, giving the
youngsters a chance to compete in a friendly and non-threatening environment.
Currently there are coaching sessions at
Henley College, City College Tile Hill, Woodway Park School throughout the week and the
Coventry Sports Centre on Saturdays. For more information look under Basketball
