 History of the
Coventry Crusaders
1996 / 1997
The Community development programme reached over 4000 young
people during the 96/97 season. Wenman Mobility took on the role of sponsoring the
wheelchair team. In Division One, the senior men's team finished third in the league and
once again the allstar game was played in Coventry. In November 1996 the club took on a
six game tour of the USA to boost confidence, spirit and skills. The team and supporters
were exposed to basketball of the US kind.
