Bupa Crusaders Coach Dip Donaldson has called up youngsters from the Crusader organisation to play in a friendly this week. 

Nicholas Pope, Jonathan Davies and Jordan Williams who are all 15 years old, and Paul Adams aged 17, will all be in Crusader kit on Thursday 30 December for the 3pm tip-off against the US Air Force Base team. 

There is the possibility of calling up one more development player, but that remains to be seen. 

Bupa Crusaders are expecting a large crowd since basketball has been so rarely seen this year in Coventry. 

The Crusaders have recently received word that the majority if not all the rest of their home games will again be played in the Coventry Sports Centre and not the Coventry Skydome Arena as originally indicated, since the arena still has not been completed.

Away in France for Christmas are Nicolas Vinsonneau and Pierre Bonneau. Andrew Laventure is also away. Crusaders are expecting to field a strong side nonetheless. 

Coach Dip Donaldson will be making his first appearance as a player this season after recovering from lower back problems which have kept him from training and playing until recently.
