Crusaders Hope to Climb
Coventry Crusaders have yet another double
weekend of games this week. Tomorrow (Friday) they head to Chester to
take part in another BBL Cup game.
The pool they are in
consists of Sheffield Sharks who defeated Crusaders by twelve points
earlier this season, Chester Jets, and ex-Division One rivals Worcester
Wolves who will be coming to the Coventry Sports Centre a week from
Sunday (10th Dec.)
Crusaders are hoping to
get the maximum out of the experience of playing BBL teams, and rose
very capably to the occasion when playing Sheffield Sharks in September.
If they could capture a win or two in their pool it would be a bonus and
a feather in their cap.
On Saturday Crusaders
will return to the Coventry Sports Centre to go about the business of
procuring another win in their Division One league campaign.
They will be playing
newcomers Northampton Neptunes and are hoping to gain two more points
for the league table. Last weekend’s win against Kings Lynn enabled
them to climb to 7th and they would only like to go up from
there.
Tip off on Saturday will
be at 7:30 pm and tickets are available on the door, £6 Adults and £4
Concessions. |
