Crusaders Double Bill Weekend
Coventry Crusaders will be playing at home again this Saturday at the
Coventry Sports Centre, hoping to secure a win and keep hopes alive in
the National Trophy Competition.
UH West Herts Warriors are their opponents on Saturday, coming to
Coventry without a win in the competition, whereas Crusaders have one
win and one loss.
Crusaders will also be playing a National Cup game on Sunday at
Leicester. The National Cup involves all the teams in Divisions 1,2 and
3, similar to the FA Cup in football. Their first round was a bye, so
they will be hoping to best Leicester Warriors from Division Two.
Crusaders do not have any injuries reported, so they should be able to
face the weekend with a healthy squad, and hopefully gain two wins in
the process.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are available on the door at £6 Adults and
£4 Concessions. Tip off time is 7:30pm.
The Crusaders youth teams also have games on Saturday. The newly
developed U-14’s will be travelling to Nottingham to play in a
tournament against Notts Nova and Black Country.
The U-16’s will be travelling to Shropshire, and the U-18’s play at home
at the Alan Higgs Centre at 12:30 against Doncaster Danum Eagles, last
year’s Premier Midlands champions. |
