Weekend Games Cancelled!

West Herts Withdraw from Competition
Crusaders head coach
Scott Neely received the surprising news that the scheduled opponents
for tomorrow night’s game will not be coming. This afternoon the
English Basketball League head office sent notification that the UH West
Herts Warriors have withdrawn from all competition for this season.
Although coach Neely
has made numerous calls trying to organise a friendly with another team
so as not to disappoint supporters looking for a game, and to keep his
team game fit, it has not been possible to organise at such short
notice.
Therefore Coventry
Crusaders, regretfully, will have to cancel tomorrow night’s game.
Ironically, the National
Cup game that was due to be played against Leicester Warriors on Sunday
will also have to be re-arranged to a mid-week game, so Crusaders have
an un-looked for free weekend after only two weeks into the season. |
