Crusaders Hit the Road for Two Games this
Weekend
The Crusaders will
be heading to Manchester on Saturday and to Bristol on Sunday to
complete their National Trophy Games.
It is unusual to
have two road games on the same weekend, and it is the only time the
Crusaders will have to do it this season.
Crusaders will need
to win both games in order to progress to the quarterfinals of the
National Trophy, as only the top two teams in each Pool progress.
Manchester always
fields a talented side, so Crusaders will have to be on the alert
defensively from the outset. Manchester’s only loss so far was to
Reading Rockets who seem to be a step ahead of most of the league,
scoring-wise.
The Bristol Academy
Flyers are an unknown team as far as any prior encounter Crusaders have
had with them.
They
are newly promoted to Division One, so will be eager to show they are up
for the challenge, and once again, Crusaders will need to stick to their
game plan and concentrate on doing what they do best.
