Crusaders
Host Sheffield Arrows
Coventry Crusaders
will be playing at the Coventry Sports Centre tomorrow evening (Saturday
2nd).
Crusaders who have
enjoyed being at home the last two weekends, have definitely stepped up
their game over the last few games and are looking for another win.
They came close,
losing to top-placed Manchester Magic last Saturday in front of a
supportive crowd. In spite of a 17-point deficit they made a comeback
that drew them to just within 6 points before the final buzzer.
On Sunday they
travelled to Kings Lynn for the “battle of the bottom”, being one place
above College of West Anglia Fury, it was a Must Win situation for both
teams.
In spite of American
player Keith Sudler being out of action after the first few minutes of
the game due to a facial injury, Crusaders managed to hold their game
intact and enjoyed their second win of the league season 71-64.
Last time Crusaders
met Sheffield they were at the wrong end of a 78-83 result. It will be
interesting to see which team has made the most improvement over the
course of the season, and whether or not the support at home will tip
the win Crusaders way.
Tickets are
available on the door, Adults £6, Concessions £4. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm.
It promises to be an exciting game! |
