Crusaders and Coca Cola Team Up for
Last Home Game
Coventry Crusaders
will be playing their last regular season home game today at the
Coventry Sports Centre, sponsored by Coca Cola Enterprises Ltd.
They will be facing
College of West Anglia Fury, who were known last season as Kings Lynn
Fury. The Fury is facing a win-less season so far.
With only a handful
of games left, Crusaders are needing to secure another win or two before
their chances of a playoff slot can be secured, so it is a crucial game
for both teams.
Earlier this season
when the two sides met in Kings Lynn Crusaders managed to win 71-64.
American player Keith Sudler was injured early in the game and had to
retire from the game.
Tonight Sudler may
once again be sidelined from a later injury. His game fitness is yet to
be determined. But with or without him, the Crusaders will need to pull
out all their stops and procure a win.
Prior to the
Division One game the Warwickshire Basketball Association will be
hosting their annual All-Star Game beginning at 4:45 pm. This is always
a highly entertaining event, with a dunk contest, three-point shooting
contest and plenty of high scoring action.
Tip off for the Coca
Cola sponsored Division One Game is 7:30. Tickets for the game are
available on the door for £6 Adults and £4 Concessions. Admission to
the All-Star game is free. |
