 Matt Smith joins Crusaders

American Matt Smith has joined Coventry Crusaders.

The 6' 9" Power Forward flew into the UK yesterday from Seattle and, despite the jet lag, has been registered in time for this weekends game.

Matt is a very versatile player who can also play at Centre, offensively he thrives off of the inside-outside game with a consistent shooting stroke out to the 3-point range causing for many miss match opportunities.

Defensively, Matt is a relentless rebounder and has excellent ball handling for such a big man, but most of all, Matt is a hard worker who prides himself on being a very coachable player and so should feel right at home with his Crusaders team-mates when he eventually gets down to training this week.

This 26 year olds Basketball career has taken him to the following Clubs and Leagues:
