Press Officer.
Coventry Crusaders weren't able
to build upon their 90-81 league win at Leicester last week as this
afternoon's game fell away from them up at the high flying Durham
Wildcats.
The deficit grew larger as the game wore one, and the
defeat sees Crusaders sitting 8th in EBL Division One from a 1-2 record.
There was some consolation to take from the game
however: the trip up north saw Damilola Fakunle and Siman Stewart
dominate the Crusaders' scoring charts for the third league game in a
row - a promising sign so early on in the season.
Roger Payne will have plenty of time to plan ahead and
assess his squad's start to the season before they play the last of
their four straight away league games in two weeks down at Brixton
Topcats.
Keep checking crusaders.co.uk over the next few days
to find out the head coach's reaction to the game, the season so far,
and how his squad is shaping up.
Scorers:
