Youths in action.

There is a double dose of basketball  action at the Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre on Saturday 15 January as the Under 18 Men and Under 16 Boys both have home National League ties.

Marcus Garvey's Under 16 Boys get the show on the road at 12:15pm fighting to get off the bottom of the Midlands Conference against mid-table Leicester Sparks. The last meeting between these two was on the opening day of the season when Coventry were on the wrong end of a 60-30 score line.

The Under 18s Men need to show their bounce-back-ability against Northants Thunder at 2:15pm following the worst possible start to 2011 last weekend. Alvin Scott's youngsters lost by 45 points in a 82-37 score line at Midlands Conference leaders Derby Trailblazers, their biggest defeat of the season so far.

The Under 18s and Under 16s can move up to fifth and seventh respectively in their leagues with a win, so get along and show your support. Entry is free to all.
