Girls basketball sessions finish

By Adam Manning, Crusaders Press Officer

Crusaders point guard Robin Hall believes it is only a matter of time before Crusaders hit top-form, insisting: "we will get them wins and we will go on a roll."

Hall and his team-mates goes into Saturday's home game with London Leopards with just one win in seven league games, yet it could have been all so different in the last three where Crusaders have just fallen short at the death.

After single-digit losses to Reading and Leeds at the Coventry Sports Centre, the latest disappointment came down at PAWS London Capitals last Saturday when Coventry missed seven uncontested lay-ups to lose a five point lead.

And as the 30-year-old former Birmingham As player rightly pointed out, the side need to learn quickly that there is a fine line between victory and defeat.

"With the experience we've got we should be sealing the game at the end. However, whether it's nerves or it could still be that we're trying to find our feet as we've never played together before.

"We're trying to find out what each other can do and who we need to get the ball to, and I think if we can get that next win and break this losing cycle then we'll go on a roll and definitely beat these teams that we're losing to."
