Crusaders take on midlands rivals Leicester

By Adam Manning, Crusaders Press Officer

Crusaders return to the Coventry Sports and Leisure Centre this Saturday evening buoyed by their 64-76 win at Division One champions Derby Trailblazers last weekend.

The next team trying to stop a Coventry resurgence is Leicester Warriors, who Crusaders beat 81-90 in the first league game of the season back last October.

A win for Roger Payne's men could lift Crusaders off the bottom of the table and into join ninth place - which would put them two wins off a play-off spot with ten games to go.

Get along to the game in time for the 7:30pm start and show the lads your support. Tickets are just £2 for adults, and £1 for children, students and OAPs.

* Coventry Crusaders Under-16 Boys are also in action at the Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre when they entertain Ilkeston Outlaws at 12:15pm. Marcus Garvey's side have picked up of late, winning two out of their last three games.

That game is followed by the Under-18 Men who are looking for their first win in seven when they host Northants Moulton. Coventry lost this season's earlier encounter 86-51. Tip-off is 2:15pm.
