"Hoops 4 Health" final announced.

By Adam Manning, Crusaders press officer

Coventry Crusaders Basketball Club is pleased to announce that the Coventry and Solihull Warwickshire “Hoops 4 health” final will take place at Grace Academy on Wednesday 30 March from 12:45-3:00pm.

The finalists have been decided from the winner of each of the five regional tournaments, plus a runner-up from last October’s regional tournament. So the schools taking part are: Wyken Croft (Grace Academy winner); Good Shepherd (Grace Academy runner-up); Shrubland Street (North Leamington winner); Coppice Junior (Solihull winner); St.John Vianney (Hereward College winner) and Southfields (Barr’s Hill winner).

The tournament was due to be played on Sunday 27 March prior to Coventry Crusaders men's final home game of the season, but due to the team withdrawing from National League Division One mid-way through the season, the tournament has been rescheduled for a later date.

The winner of the CSW final will represent their area at the national finals at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena on Saturday 30 April.
