Away At Colchester
It's been
a long wait for them but Coventry and Warwickshire Crusader's Wheelchair team are back in
action tomorrow afternoon with the third of their three "season opening" road
games.
Just as
with The Crusader's Men's senior team, the Wheelchair team will be heading for Colchester
Leisure World tomorrow to face Colchester United.
Also like
their senior counterparts, with the restructure of the leagues, this will be the first
time that Crusaders have faced Colchester, although Coach Paul Claridge did take time out
last Sunday to take a look at tomorrow's opposition during their 29 - 21 defeat at the
hands of Stratford.
Ahead of
the game, Claridge has been forced to make a few changes in tomorrow's seven man team,
which will see Crusaders without the services of seasoned players Nick and Karen King who
are both unavailable this weekend.
On a
brighter note though, Sahail Ahmed, who has been back in training with Crusaders, has now
received his clearance to play, and will be returning to the starting line up for this his
first game of the season, after a change in circumstances saw him remaining in the
Coventry area.
Claridge
was confident this week that having seen their hosts play at Stratford, Crusaders, who
have opened so well this season, will tomorrow be looking at maintaining their 100%
record.
