This
weekend's game for Coventry and Warwickshire Crusaders Wheelchair Team will go ahead as
planned despite an accident to their Coach Paul Claridge that is almost certain to keep
him off the court until the New Year.
Claridge,
who sustained a fractured vertebra in a snow boarding accident last week, spoke last night
of his team's readiness to take on Bristol Pirates with out him, and he himself believes
that his absence will give other team members an opportunity to shine on court.
Saturday's
game will see Crusaders play on their home court at City College Tile Hill Lane for the
first time this season, and all but Adam Crinage are available for this weekend's battle
with the Pirates.
All
players are confident after training that they can hang on to their 100% record this
weekend as they look to consolidate their best start to their season.
Tip off at
City College Tile Hill Lane is @ 11:30am.
